I'm in a market for a new laptop. It's either going to be the Tornado G3 PRO or the Alienware m17x(Onces it becomes available).
Only problem is that I haven't heard of DigitalStormOnline Laptops, I've heard of their custom desktops though. I'll get a Quad-Core processor and a SLI Video Cards once it becomes available for the 8800M GTX for both Alienware and the Tornado. Obviously money is somewhat not a problem, I got about 3.5k to spend. I just want a really good system. Also the Tornado G3 PRO looks a lot like the Sager NP9262. I understand that Alienware/Sager is both Clevo. So is this is just a rebranded Sager just with DigitalStorms Logo on it?
Build quality good?
Heat?
Fan-noise?

I don't know about DSO's laptop systems, but I can assure you that the desktops, which I have, can not be beat, at any price. I researched every custom builder before going with this company. None offered the custom build and quality parts that DSO did. And, the next closest one that I found was still substandard parts and it was priced about two grand more!
If I were you, I would look closely at the lap tops that DSO has and compare them to the other outfits. Compare not just price, but what the exact parts are. I think you will be suprised.
Just my opinion.

DSO is going to offer you plenty of options in a laptop that others don't, for example alienware wont give you above 667 mhz memory but DSO gives ya 800.
The price will be cheaper with DSO considering what you get. There is only one laptop company that is cheaper than DSO, but do not buy from them if you find them. They have several claims filed against them in the past 3 months.
But honestly I tried to buy a DSO laptop and they couldnt make it for me because they were out of cases, so I got mine from somewhere else.
I have never seen a review for a DSO laptop either, but I would assume they are good.

Also to add alienware really knows what they are doing when it comes to computers because they make so many. I have heard a lot of complaints with customer support but I never had to call support once with my alienware computers.
The only thing is the price, realize you're paying more for the name then the parts in the system. They are pretty expensive....

So basically in essence no one can vouch in telling me about a DSO gaming notebook, because seems like none of you guys own one, nor reviewed one?
Might as well get an Alienware when it comes to Notebooks, DSO when it comes to desktops?

Nivaku, i seriously doubt DSO would make a go to resellerratings.com and look at alienwares reviews.
always check resellerratings.com and bbb.com before buying anything expensive over the internet.
