i just ran the free version of AVG and found out my c: drive contained two tracking cookies, are those dangerous or potentially dangerous....would ccleaner clean out those?

ooo...so tracking cookies is pretty much the same as cookies that keeps track of where in the net i visit everytime..thanks HM

Yes but generally you want to remove tracking cookies specially if they are there from a malicious source, they can record keystrokes and such.
As HM said run CCleaner and clear them out. |
