Trend v.s. ESET Smart security

  Hi ! I currently have a license for Trend Micro Internet Security (have used Trend for 3 yrs now) and have had Very good results except for it loads ever so slowly and I "think" it may be a resource hog. Even when I got a WICKED bad trojan they (Trend) eventually remotely took over my machine and fixed it completely.
  I wonder if anyone has had Both Trend and ESET and can tell me if the Extra cost is really worth it? Trend allows installation on up to 3 computers while ESET charges extra $$ for a second computer to be covered . I have TWO machines that need protection.
  I know Trend SHOULD load much faster on my new DS Machine ( Arrives TODAY !) But wonder if ESET is really that much better? Any comments on your experiences ?

I have Trend and ESET, had Trend for over a year, dumped it and went with ESET smart security, to be honest I use ESET myself on all my other comps, however one of my laptops came with Trend and a one year license, I'll be honest, I will never go back to Trend again.

but thats just me.

It has a full 30 day trial, test it first for 30 day then decide
