   I recently picked up a pair, and just wanted to let everyone know that I'm really enjoying them.  I got the PC only version, not the PC/xBox/PS3 version, but other than connectors I think the headset is the same.  
I'm no audiophile, but sound quality to me is fantastic, the bass is evident, but not overpowering, and the smaller details are crisp, could be my EQ settings a bit as well.  
The directional sound is really good for a headset, and things that are in the distance really sound like they're in the distance.  
They're really comfortable (for my head), and the mic is nice, friends say I sound better than on my previous POS headset. 

Anyways, just thought I'd post this incase anyone is considering them.
