I hope you guys are not getting tired of my questions

I am going to order my PC within the week

so my questions are

-What's the difference between the motherboards?  nForce 780 or 790?  I suppose the 790 is better but why is it better?  does the 790 allow better overclocking?  is it worth the extra money?

What about the case?   900 v 850 v 950 v Cosmo case?  What's better?  I may not use  water cooling is there a big difference with just air cooling between the cases?

I may go with a single GTX 260 card, what would I need to get (now) in order to add a second card (later)?  Is adding a second card later a hard thing to do?

I understand it's probably better to have both video cards from the start, but a dual card 260 is very expensive and I am trying to keep the price as low as possible.

how much power should I ge tto be safe?

If I'm not mistaken the 790i has DDR 3 support and PCI-Express 2.0.

the cases:

950si has more room so its better for water cooling

850si has more opening but a little less room so its better for air cooling.

antec is the basic case with less air flow.

cosmo is suppose to be a bit better then 950si but I too like to hear in what aspects.

video card:
just make sure you got a 1000w or a 850w power supply might be fine also. no adding a video card or anything is fairly easy

hope that helps a bit.

Cosmos S has a mountable spot on the top of the case for your radiator should you go water cooling, not to mention have 3 fans cooling that one radiator.

Not sure how cable management is for anyone other case.  But I practically geeked out learning about the Cosmos S, but they made sure that there were these holes which allow you for optimal cable management.

it means that in the future you could use their capabilities better cause they are the latest in their fields. Right this moment you many not know much difference.

also ddr3 can have higher speeds then ddr2.

Both the 780i and the 790i support PCI-e 2.0.
The primary difference is in the support for DDR3 or DDR2.  The 790i is also slightly better at overclocking quadcores. Unless your total budget exceeds $4k, no, I don't think it's worth the money.
The 850i, is IMO the best air cooling case offered by DSO.
You would need to ensure you have at least an 800W PSU if you want to follow the recommendations Nvidia makes for that graphics card. That means the PCP&C 860W PSU or larger.

cosmos is a great box, if you want to go with just air cooling go with 850 but if you want to go with liquid cooling then get the comsos s for sure.
