Anyone have any reviews or suggestions for watching TV on my comp? Programs, the hardware I would need, etc.? I have Comcast cable (which I hate) here and Charter cable back at school, if that matters at all. I am currently using two 23 inch widescreen Dell monitors.
Would love to hear from anyone with experience or... anyone really. Links (if DS acceptable) would be greatly appreciated as well. sidenote: Any type of DVR would be great, too. |

comcast has something called fancast, http://www.fancast.com/
where you can watch most shows online, not sure how good it is
there is of course also hulu and most networks hold the better shows online for sometime
to watch actual tv on your computer, i believe you need a tv tuner which hooks in like a sound card and takes a coaxial connection, dont know much about that either
now, this was all true years ago, supposively win 7 has addressed this to make things easier, though i havent read about this at all, im a TIVO guy personally
