DStorm >> I was wondering if there will be a future option to get the QX6850 overclocked? There is currently only an option for the QX6800. I plan on purchasing the Liquid cooling option as well (I'm not sure if this will make a difference on the availability of the option or not).

Any info would be great Smile Thanks for your time.

I'm glad you asked! If you select our QX6850 and our Liquid Cooling option, it comes with our Twister Boost technology. We will overclock it to about 3.6Ghz.

I hope that helps!

3.6ghz!? Insanity. Thanks for the information Alex. Just when I think I know what system config I'm eyeing, another door of opportunity opens hahah.

Hey Alex, one more thing...do the videocards (i.e. 8800 Ultras) get the TwisterBoost treatment as well with the full Liquid cooling option (CPU + Videocards)

If so, what's the ballpark overclock amount you guys strive for each time?

we don't overclock the video cards because the Ultra is already an overclocked 8800gtx with a bigger ram chip.  There is really no point to oc the ultra.

don't get me wrong, if you want the Vid cards (didn't we cover this in another thread?) overclocked, let us know and we'll do it.
