Thanks to Kelly, Dave and Roger. Kelly, I will give you a call if I run into any issues. Thanks for calling me today.

These are a little dark, I will try again tomorrow. I don't have a digital camera just the webcam from my MacBook Pro.
The Pro case is the perfect size for me. This Samsung Monitor 22" is better than I expected. So far no problems whatsoever. I loaded up BF2 and Quake Wars. After a few days of playing I will post a review. Awesome system. And yes that is our 37" Sharp Aquos LCD with 360 and PS3. Got to play some games on the PC! ![]() ![]()

Still up installing, playing, installing playing!
Just finishing up a BF2 downloaded patch. I definately understand now what DS owners mean when they say their machine laughs at programs and chews through the instal process. I used to dread the sound of my computer grinding away at the long annoying installation process of bloated pieces of software like BF2--now the sound is like a heart beat of power! Another thing I absolutely love is the look of the Pro case. I am not a fan of wild looking tricked out cases. You know, those big angular jutting plastic finned cases that are downright garish. Nothing like that with the Pro case. It has this sleek, power box look, so solid, and confident. The metallic pieces just give off an impression of absolut quality. The green glow is fantastic with the black round cables. I am really impressed with the way the components are shown off by the round cabling. The black case with my Samsung monitor black micorsoft keyboard and black mouse, black speakers go together perfectly. It looks awesome in my room. More later! |

Time for bed. It is 418 AM and I haven't slept a wink. I have installed:
Ghost Recon 2 Rainbow Six Vegas BF2 World in Conflict Quake Wars Including most updates. Everything on maximum settings. All multiplayer features functioning. Have not had to install a single driver. I can't tell you how great it is to have no pre-installed crap-ware like you get wtih those other companies. Tomorrow after a bit of sleep. I will dive into some real play time. Not a single issue about Vista has come up. The OS is working flawlessly. This computer worked perfectly literally right out of the box. Not one frustrating moment. Just so anyone might need to know, in order to run BF2 with Vista you have enable running the game as an administrator, otherwise you get a O.S. privilege error. Simple fix. Ran it easily with speakers or on a headset. The clarity with the monitor is mind boggling. Can't wait to use my Crysis beta key. BF2 used chug on my aging XPS laptop that cost 5K in 2003. This 3500K desktop rips through it on the higest settings. I never could ever see so far--the tiniest figures in the distance are visable--makes sniping far more satisfying and not nearly as many deaths from unseen enemies. Draw distances are incredible. I have bought from Dell, Gateway, Compact and from a local computer builder. I have a MacBook Pro but that doesn't count as it is only for applications not games. I am an appellate attorney and write my briefs on the MacBook Pro. But gaming is now going to cut into my livelihood! As I work from home writing State and Federal criminal appeals. One thing I did that am not sorry about one bit. I continually bumped up my build to get top performance for my dollar. Go for it if you can swing it. I don't have a single sensatiion of buyers remorse! Take a bow Digital Storm Online!

I'm glad to hear your computer is running well. I should be getting mine today and I hope it'll run just as well. I probably won't stay up as late as you. We talked sometime earlier about sound cards and I did decide to get a X-Fi soundcard. I was going to wait and see what game play was like without one first, but I found a good deal. Can't wait to pop it in and start exploring/playing games. |

That's quite a machine, Monstromo, and it sounds like it's running flawlessly - good to hear you aren't having any issues with Vista64. God I can't wait to get my computer.. Chris
