As usual, uninstall current version, CCleaner is great at this, then install the update, Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 12

you should always uninstall and reinstall the new one, java recommends it themselves.

why are you letting the java updater start with windows and run in the background everyday? pointless
