Will updating my BIOS to a newer version make me lose my overclocks settings? Will it go back to defult settings?

lot of variables there. sometimes you can save your profile, load a new BIOS, and load the saved profile. But on other BIOS updates the old profile will not work, or will not be stable.
for most updates it is recommended to go into the BIOS, hit load default settings, press F 10 to save and re-boot, flash the new BIOS, re-start, go into the BIOS load defaults, F-10 to save and restart, then go into the BIOS to enter you OC settings.
