Hi, been too busy to keep with the graphics card department. I am thinking of upgrading my Radeon HD 5850 1gb to something better. What's out there that would give me a noticeable boost in performance for a great price.

Gaming on dual monitors: 20'' 1920x1080, and 25'' 1920x1080. The 25'' is the main monitor (ofcourse), while the 20'' is for random stuff / browsing while gaming.

Really depends on the budget.  The new gtx 660 for about  $230 will give you a big step up.  Here's a link to compare the two.
 
 
The gtx 660Ti , $300, and the gtx 670, $400,  are better but more $$. 
 
For AMD, the HD 7870, about $240,  would be a nice boost.
 
Anything less than 660 isn't much difference.
