Hi, I have purchase this Digital Storm laptop for a while and recently I started to do heavy video editing and it seems my ram is not enough to handle it. I am wondering whats the best Ram for me to upgrade to ? thanks
 
PS: I also have upgraded my computer to window 7 already

the only real thing you can do is double up on these. I think professional is 64-bit, so you should be okay.

so I should buy 2 of Crucial CT51264AC800 4GB DDR2 ram and swap out the ram I currently have? or just get 1 and run 6 GB ram?

swap out the ram, or swap one stick of ram, your choice.

edit:: oh wait, you upgraded to win 7? um, is it 64-bit, or 32-bit?

Are you sure? Is your OS 32-bit or 64-bit? Because if your OS is 32-bit then the maximum memory than it can support is only 4GB

if you have your windows 7 box somewhere, be sure to install the 64 bit if you have already installed the 32; 32 is too outdated
 
PS if you got your windows OS preinstalled in DS it should be 64 bit i think

I got my Window 7 professional and key from UCSB engineering department but they only gave me 32-bit one , I will try to get a  64 bit one and reinstall it , and thanks : p
