Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum but I have a couple of questions regarding upgrade:

1) I have zotac gtx 480 card now, and I plan to buy the zotac 480 amp card and do SLI, I want to ask if this is possible? And is it hard to install myself?

2) When I change the card, do I need to put the new card in the socket that the old 480 is in now, because I want the new card to be my main card, or socket placement does not mater?

2) When I was buying my machine, I didn't have upgrading in mind so I chose the 750W PSU, since I'm planning to get another 480, I have to install a new 1200W PSU, I want to ask if it is hard to change the PSU?

I have the HAF X chassis and it has excellent wiring from DSO, but with everything connected, I'm a little afraid to change the video card and changing the PSU. Any advice?

Thank you

1) Although its possible its better to get the vanilla version of the GTX 480 which I assume your current GTX 480 is, any brand will do doesn't have to be zotac and overclock it yourself. If you get the amp edition your current 480 which I assume should be slower will automatically overclock to the same speed as the amp edition and depending on your luck of the draw may cause some problems. And its very easy to install

2)I'm pretty sure the socket placement doesn't matter

3) Changing the PSU is very easy, but rewiring it will be the hard part

everything else aside, yes, it hard becuase you will need to rewire the entire computer. the majority of the cable work in a pc is power cables
