My original system had a GTX 285 and I want to swap that out for dual GTX 560's. I've got the cards on hand and one card is already in my rig, but I don't have the PCI-E power cables for one of the cards. I was wondering what kind of cable I would need; a standard 6-pin, or some special type of adapter.

I'm also not sure of the exact model of my PSU. All I have on it is 750W Digital Storm Certified (Dual SLI Compatible)(Silent Edition).

Thanks in advance.

Hi zmank... I believe the gtx 560 uses 2x 6 pin cable.    Not sure whats left in your psu harness, but most have multiple 4 pin peripheral connectors.   You can go to Amazon, etc and get a couple of 4 pin to 6 pin video card adapter that takes 2 x 4 pin connector and changes to a 6 pin cable.

Hope this helps.

I replaced my EVGA GTX 295 with an EVGA Titan and it was a tremendous improvement in game play. But to be honest a 780 is a lot cheaper and almost as powerful. But the Titan is just so neat!
