Hello Folks,
This is my first post on DS.
I recently built my own PC (custom) with the following specs:
Case: Antec 902
CPU: Intel i7 950 (3.06GHz)
RAM: Corsair Dominator 1600MHz 12GB
OS HDD: 2x 32GB G-skill SLC SSD (RAID-0)
Game/Program HDD: 2x Fujitsu 147GB 15k RPM SAS drives (RAID-0)
Storage HDDs: 1x 250GB/1x 300GB/ 1x WD 10k RPM Raptor 150GB
GPU: Nvidia GTX-295
Mo-Board: Asus P6T7 Supercomputer
CPU Cooler: Xigmatek Dark Knight
Optical Drive: Pioneer BD-203 Blu-Ray Burner
Misc.: Multi-card reader/ 4x1 2.5" SSD Hot-swappable bay
OS: Windows 7 Utlimate x64
Monitors: Dell 2405fpw (24")
'Potential 3rd GPU': ATi Radeon X1900XTX (old card not installed yet)
I am planning to get 2 more monitors for a 3 monitor set up.
I would like to do the following:
1.) Overclock my CPU to ~4.0GHz with complete stability
2.) Add another Nvidia GTX-295 for SLi
3.) Add my old Radeon X1900XTX (for 3 monitor set up because the nvidia SLi does NOT have Eyefinity for spanning 3 monitors
4.) Add a 5-in-3 Supermicro HDD bay
5.) Add 2x 1TB WD HDD for video storage
I assume I would need a full tower case (Antec 1200?) ?
Will Digital Storm do these upgrades for me? I am very particular about CLEAN, NEAT installation and wiring along with professionally done overclocking etc. I have never overclocked before so I do not want to take any chances.
Again, my question is, will Digital Storm do these upgrades for me even though I didn't buy a "new" computer from them? Of course, I will pay for their services and they are actually local (Fremont, CA).
Can anyone from DS answer this? Thanks in advance.
Btw, here are a couple of pics of my PC:

That looks like an awesome build you have there and while we are honored that you would like us to make those upgrades for you we are pretty swamped since it is during the holidays and we are concentrating right now on getting our customers systems out that have purchased from us.
This is something we can look into, perhaps after the holidays have come and gone and we could devote the attention to it that it would need and deserve. So if this is something you are still interested in after the holidays have passed, feel free to get in touch with us. |

Hello Sarah, Thanks for the response. Yes, I am definitely interested in getting the upgrades even if it is after the holidays. I am not really in a rush as my PC is performing well and I am quite content for the time being. Also, I forgot to add that I have the PC-Power & Cooling 1200 Watt PSU so that should handle two GTX-295s with ease. Please let me know the earliest date I can drop my PC off to get the work done. Of course, I would like to discuss certain details regarding the upgrades first but the sooner the better. Thanks again. Regards. |
