Hey guys, about 5 years ago I purchased a tier 3 Eclipse and it's been amazing so far. However due to games, technology, and my personal life advancing forward I'm looking to upgrade a few of my parts. The 3 big ones are the GPU, ram, and if need be power supply. The issue is I have no idea how to remove the CPU cooler to get access to the ram, not do I know how to get to the power supply. The only information I could get on the Eclipse comes from the Digital Storm youtube channel, where they have a wonderful tutorial on how to remove the Graphics card housing. Otherwise this all remains very alien to me. Any advice?

Hi!

I believe we were using the low-profile heatsink coolers at the time, which is mounted via screws BEHIND the motherboard. You would need to remove the motherboard out of the chassis in order to uninstall the heatsink.

Hi

Yes I had found this out after working with a very helpful agent. I'm waiting for a reply from tech support taking me through a safe way for me to remove and reapply the cooler.
