Please help me refine my build. I want something that's powerful today, and quiet, and upgradeable. I think that means a spec with one powerful graphics card, with an overclocked i7 920, and liquid cooling for CPU and graphics. My question is, if I later upgrade to a second gtx 295, would I be able to also upgrade the cooling system to add liquid cooling to the second card? Is that difficult or risky? Thanks for any replies. Here's the rig I'm looking at;Chassis Model: Cooler Master CM Storm Sniper

first of all the LC option you have piced is not for the 295.
what is your budget? and what resolution will you be gaming at? and post your ticket number please. also post this thread in the config section, this is not the right section ![]()

My hardware question is pretty simple, and not really related to resolution or budget: Is it reasonable to expect that I can upgrade by adding another graphics card, and to put liquid cooling on the second card, if I start with a single card system with liquid cooling?

ok, so I guess you don't want me to tell that the xfx board suck, and its the last board you want to get, or the fact that the LC option you have chosen will not work with the 295, and that its gonna cost more, but there is a solution that will cost less and give better performance, or other info like that about other parts you have chosen, ok, np.
If you got a dual loop and the second loop has only the gpu on it, then yes you can add another LCed gpu to that loop. if you got single loop that has both cpu and gpu on it, then again yes you can add another gpu, but I'm not sure what kind of temps you would be dealing with, and there is a possibility that you may have to lower you oc due to higher temps. hope that helps. now if you want your money to be spent on parts that are quality and also offer better performance then the config you have posted and cost less, give me the info I asked for, otherwise, I guess you are good to go.
