I just ordered the Aventum X and noticed the motherboard was upside down in the photos. I wanted to upgrade to the z590 aorus xtreme water force once I received the pc but was wondering if it would be applicable.

You can mount just about any mobo "upside down" if you wish. It's oriented like that because the Aventum, like the Velox, is intended to show it's "innards" from the right-hand side of the case. Most cases with windows have them on the left so the motherboard is mounted the other way, once again to show off the parts. Cases with windows all around or right facing are a relatively new design.

Hi Ropur…If your Aventum order is still in progress, why not ask DS about ordering the mobo you really wanted and see what that will cost.   DS can get anything you want if the board is actually available to order…the delay and cost will be your choice to make of course. Ask DS.
