General gaming @ 2560x1440

Current specs

2600k @ 3.4, overclock kept failing, blue screens, shutdowns. Eventually just undid itself.
570gtx 1.2gb
750w PSU

I'm thinking you need sli 570 2.5GB for that res, have a look at swtor forums and see what they recommend.

Also I'm not clear on your situation, are you saying that your cpu is no longer oced?

for sli 570 I recommend the 1050HX psu (this covers us for any future sli upgrade) and sli 570, if your current one is working then you have two choices as far as gpu goes:

1. add a second 570 1.2GB

2. wait till april and go sli "670/680" if you will.

Now everything I said above is based on you having checked with DS and there is nothing wrong with the cpu, oc, or anything, and your problem is truly just lack of power.

SLI wont get you better FPS in SWTOR, when i ran SLI i only got about 80 FPS. I turned it off and im at 120+ FPS. I'm also pushign 2 gtx 580 3gb cards. So maybe thats a factor because im also running at 2560x1600. One 580 3gb is well enough for that game.

Some people on the swtor forums have seen great gains with sli thats why I mentioned it for him, if a 570 is not cutting it for him neither will a 580.
