Hi, guys. I purchased a desktop here several years ago and I'm looking to upgrade my RAM.
I currently have 2 GB of the 'dominator' DDR2 Corsair at 1066MHz. I'm looking to upgrade to either 4 GB or 8 GB. I have the nVidia 680i Core 2 Quad motherboard. I've been looking at the G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR2. (link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148274) My question is: Is this upgrade compatibile with my computer or can you recommend an alternative upgrade? Thanks guys! |

I can't see why it won't be compatible. But the link provided shows up as Crucial and not G.Skill.
Of course, if you want to be 200% sure it is compatible, you can always check your motherboard's support site and see list of compatible memory. |
