Quick question, Ive been reading that the 240gb SSD that comes with the lynx just isn't enough for gaming. Should i look into upgrading this after i get my pc? I'm fairly new to pcs and hoping to get some advice for future upgrades.

240GB is pretty small, but it depends on what games you are installing on it and how long you going to keep them? If they are large online games that you don't plan on uninstalling, I would upgrade to atleast a 500gb so you can get a couple singleplayer games on it as well.

But not on all games have to be on an ssd imo, so you can also get a 1tb/2tb hdd in the second slot too.

I'm wanting to play Escape from Tarkov, COD, alot of games that take up a lot of space lol Could i just get an external ssd and use it like that, so i wouldn't have to technically add anything to the internals of the pc. (not confident enough to mess with that yet)

I understand your reluctance, but it's really not hard at all. Watch some You Tube videos and see what you think. If you go with an external, be sure you get USB 3.0 so it will be as fast as you can get.

Your motherboard comes with one M.2 slot on the front. It's about an inch wide, and it's a place to plug in an NVMe SSD. Those are the very fastest you can get. The drive is about the size of a small pocket comb, and plugs right into the slot. A single screw fastens the rear end to the board. It accesses the PCIe bus same as a video card for up to 5 times the speed of a regular SATA SSD without any wires or cables needed. They are a little pricy, but their speed is worth it. Check those out on You Tube.

Remember your rig comes with LIFETIME tech support. If you need help with ANYTHING, call in to DS and a tech will walk you through an upgrade on the phone. they are happy to help.
