Get upgrades from newegg and amazon for best prices.

I'm no sound expert, so I can't help you much with that stuff, hardware section is a better place to post this so that others with sound experience can help you.

I'm not knowledgeable in media drive types so I can't tell you.

if you get the m4 or 320 make sure they both have the latest firmware.

Hi Aka,

Well if you bought the Logitech z906 5.1 system you have a 500w amp in the control console. The console does the DTS decoding of the signal received from the computer and the D/A conversion. You can also connect a Xbox, TV or most any input source to the Z906.

With the computer your blue ray player is hooked up to the sound card and the sound card is connected to the Z906 control console. Your speakers are connected to the console with speaker wire and you are good to go with the computer. The Z906 console is used to switch inputs from the computer and other devices to the speakers based on what you are wanting to hear. You should have a remote control to switch inputs. The Z906 can be the center of your entertainment system. Not enough power for big mama speakers but good enough for computer related devices.
