Processor: Intel Core i7-8700 (6-Core) 3.20GHz
Motherboard: ASUS / MSI (Intel Z370 Chipset)
System Memory: 8GB DDR4 3000MHz
Power Supply: 600W Digital Storm Performance Series
Graphics Card(s): 1x GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

I tried to run COD Warzone and Gears 5 but it was really laggy even on the lowest settings. I would appreciate any advice on what I should do to enhance my performance.

Get at least a RTX 2060 Super video card and up your memory to 16 gb

The 2060 SUPER might be a little overkill. If your monitor doesn't support frame rates up to 144Hz, you'll do fine with the non-super 2060. That's about 40% stronger than your card. More RAM is good.

That may be all you need for 3-4 years.
