That's exactly why we use a lot of padding and have custom foam designed for our systems, so they can handle this treatment. Also the silicon glue for ram slots and mounts for the video cards as well.

I heard somewhere that your package has to be able to withstand a 3 foot drop in its container without damaging the product.Thats just crazy.

In another thread recently, I posted about another builder being told by a FedEx damage claims representative that every package takes at least 10 drops of 30 inchs or more on every trip from Sender to Receiver. Yikes. |

It almost makes me want to drive to Digital Storm and pick up my computer myself...and I live in PA!!!
I wonder what UPS policy is on this...if one of thier drivers is caught red-handed, do they get a slap on the hand or are they fired? Seems with as many videos floating around, UPS wouldn't have any drivers if they fired them.
Bottom line...it's not thier package, so what do they care. They are hired to deliver
