I have a question if the Vanquish 4 Level 1 will run GTA 5 and at what settings.

a dual core cpu paired with a 2GB gpu?  i wouldn't get my hopes up for anything better than 1080p at low to medium settings with all bling turned off.  you just might squeeze out 45 fps.

Hi Legitmate938,

The only reason to buy the level 1 is budget. If it is all you can afford then it is a reasonable system. For $200 more dollars you can get the level 2 with a better CPU with 4-cores, a better GPU with 4Gb Vram, a SSD and a better power supply. You will get better performance with the level 2.

The best bang for the buck is the Level 3. Most people buy a specific level according to what game or games they play. Then the computer is so much better than what they had and start playing other games. Sometimes they are disappointed they didn't get a higher level computer for the more demanding games.

Good luck with your choice. DS is a great company and you will like what ever you get.

Frank

Problem is I'm 15 years old hopefully next year I can begin working since you have to be 16 in US. The only way I can get money right now is working with my dad and he pays me. Anyhow, my budget is around 500$ - 750$ can you please create me a config which could run GTA 5 with everything that can be maxed within my budget?

We couldn't build a rig to match your needs at that price, unfortunately.  The Vanquish are about as inexpensive as you can get for their performance.

Tough competition out there. I haven't configured a system there in ages so can't really comment.   I know DS uses quality parts, excellent build quality and customer service.   A part by part comparison would be needed to compare them and that's not allows for obvious reasons.

Just be sure the parts are from major manufacturers, have good warranties and very good customer support.   If a builder is less expensive than the prices on the Vanquish, something has to be cut for it to work.

If you Select in the Vanquish configurator, either select Benchmark button or scroll down to a Benchmark to compare the various levels. I think it's been updated for the latest changes but not 100%.

I don't remember the Vanquish 3 specs.

actually, you can build a rig around the I5-6500 cpu and R9 380 (or GTX 960 4GB) gpu for around $800.  that will get you mid 50's FPS at 1080p on "high" settings in GTAV.  you'll have to do your own research into it, but at least i got you started.  you'll have to build it yourself.  part of the DS pricing involves their support and warranty services, not to mention their labor and profit margin (they aren't a charity after all).  it wouldn't be appropriate to use their forums to go into this (i've probably already gone too far) further.  good luck with whatever you decide.  it's sometimes better to defer your gratification longer and save whatever money you can earn to put towards a better rig.

I am quite aiming towards a computer with them it's just my budget and if it can run GTA 5 I also have heard that they have good support.

As much as we would like to offer an even lower price for the PC, that would mean we would have to cut corners somewhere, either in our assembly, testing, QA, packaging, or support... which is something we do not want to do.

I understand you can find a cheaper product from somewhere else, but that's the point here, we're not trying to be the lowest. We want to offer our customers a quality product that we're proud to stand behind.

There's a difference between making a "sale" and making a "customer"....
