I'm having a weird problem on my system. Whenever I turn off computer, and turn it back on, the Asmedia USB ports in the back do not work.
I have to go to device manager and disable, then reenable the Asmedia controller to get those ports working again. Anyone know why this is? Thanks for any help. |

Try the USB 2.0 if you're using the 3.1. Could be a device plugged into usb3.1 isn't compatible and a force Windows install sees it and enables it.
Or, plug the device in after power up. 3.1 should be backward compatible but that isn't always true. If you are using USB 2.0 then I would go to Asus website, if that's the mobo, and download, install latest driver. After that I would browse the Bios for any USB tweaks. The manual might help. |
