Hey so I got my Vanquish 7 yesterday and I’m in the process of hooking it up and there’s this metal plate on the top of the tower and I’m wondering if I have to take it off or leave it on. This is my first gaming computer and I want to take care of it the best I can. So if anyone can answer my question that would be great!

Unless there are fans under the top, then you can leave the top on.   Cooling goes from front to back with front and rear fans.   You can take it off if you'd like, but unless you have a heat problem then not necessary.
