Hey guys I was looking to upgrade my ram on my computer I don’t know much about computers I wanted to see if any of you guys can help me. I have the digital storm vanquish 7 lvl 1 here are my specs. Let me know if you guys have any tips for installing I’ve never changed parts before.

Motherboard: MSI PRO A350m 4 slots for ram
Memory: 8gb DDR4 digital storm
Power Supply: 600w digital storm performance series
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2400G(4-core)
Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB

I was thinking about getting this from Corsair

How many open slots do you have?    If you have 2 open slots, and are keeping the 8 GB DS RAM and adding 16 GB more, then you need to match the timing numbers and speed of the 8 GB DS RAM you already have.     Ask DS for the details on the exact speed and timings of the DS DDR4 RAM they used, and then match it.

If you are replacing your DS 8 GB RAM, then you can check your MSI motherboards web page for the approved list of acceptable brand model and speed RAM memory list that can be used with your mobo.   

Corsair makes excellent RAM with the Vengeance and Dominator lines.
