Vanquish II: My New Vanquish Review

I had a bad experience with a brand new computer that I bought back in February by a company which I won’t name. The new machine cost me $1600.00 and I had multiple issues with it right out of the box. After much hassle, I finally got my money back and needless to say, will never purchase another L_ _ _ _ _ again in my lifetime.

I started searching around for a new computer for myself and I had three requirements of my new purchase:

1) I wanted a computer to do some casual gaming on.
2) I wanted a computer that would function flawlessly right out of the box; and if it didn’t…wanted to have the company I dealt with actually care about my issues or problems.
3) I wanted to get my money’s worth and not make me feel like I overspent on some mediocre machine.

In early July I started looking around and found DigitalStorm online and began to check out their website. The more I read, the more interested I became. After a couple of days of debating and researching, I realized I didn’t need to look any further for my next computer.

I didn’t have a never-ending supply of money, so I bought what I could afford, which was the Vanquish II, Level 3 with an Asus 24 inch VG248QE Series monitor. I didn’t actually put the computer in my cart until I scoured the website and took in all the information I could about the company, their products and warranties and reputation as well as watched unboxing videos on YouTube from other happy customers. I joined the forums and that pretty much sealed the deal for me after reading about all the other satisfied customers.

I placed my order on Friday July 11th and it shipped on Monday July 14th and I received it ahead of schedule on Friday July 18th. I’ve had it for nine days now and must say, I’m extremely happy I found DigitalStorm.

I was worried about the shipping from CA to NY but I got the two boxes and they looked very well handled and had very little signs it was shipped across the country. Thanks Fed Ex! I was worried about that.

I opened the boxes and everything was packed well and safe and I went about setting it up. It took me about 45 minutes to have everything unwrapped and plugged in and at 18:10 EST on 7/18 I flipped the switched and turned on my new machine.

It fired up with zero issues and I was off and running in about 35 seconds upon startup. The machine was/is quite, aesthetically pleasing to the eye and I could tell it was built with care and precision as much detail went into the wiring and hardware.

I spent another hour or so setting up my anti-virus, Microsoft Office 2013 and downloaded apps and set my personal preferences and such. Soon after, I loaded my first game and began to experience my new rig in all of its glory. It runs flawlessly, the graphics are killer and I encountered zero issues from the day I opened DigitalStorm on my browser up to this point.

Before purchasing, the staff answered all of my questions in a timely manner and I was kept up to date throughout every step of the process from the time I ordered until the time it hit my doorstep.

I’m very glad I bought from DigitalStorm and I couldn’t be happier right now. This machine is super cool and full of pure awesomeness.

I'm not quite sure what you mean about "make use" but I do love the monitor. It works great, the graphics are great and I'm enjoying gaming the way it's supposed to be enjoyed.

Perhaps someone else can answer your question better than I can.

Welcome to Digital Storm awesomeness bro. I have the same exact rig as you except I have a 27" Samsung monitor. Still, 2 months later on my rig, and I couldn't be happier.

BTW.... Metro: Last Light on this computer is superb beyond words.
