Alright, this is the review of the machine so far! I will post pictures later this evening.
1. Packing- the unit came air filled heavy duty crating and all pieces were included (keyboard, binder, etc). Honestly, the best packed item I have received from anyone. 2. Quality- from the start, you can just tell how high quality this unit truly is. They use a custom Corsair case that appears to be well ventilated. I may add a few fans in the future if I see that cooling is becoming an issue. So far so good. The keyboard I chose is the Corsair C70 and my Mouse is the Corsair M40. Both units boast soft touch controls and a truly tactile experience. The keys on the keyboard are MX Cherry keys and give great response. 3. Internals- the innards of this toy are top notch. The GPU and mobo both from Asus work well in tandem and five my system the future proofing I was looking for. This board doesn't appear to be SLI ready, but this is not a deal breaker to me as one GPU is fine for now! The processor is the 4670k i5 haswell core and the overcloxking checked at 4.4 GHz as advertised. To round that out, the RAM is a vegeance series a bit higer performance than advertised. No complaints there. 4. Performance- the optimized settings for Crysis 3 play the game at high throughout (largely in part to having a gtx770 on board) and I play on a 27 inch Acer from DS. The response and colors are intense. After three hours, the computer was running icy cold still, so not sure if I will really be needing extra case fans. PhotoShop and Premiere looks super rich and lifelike! The display and power of the computer makes this experience better than ever for me! Movie playback was also incredible. The DVD from World War Z looks great and the response time is solid at 60hz. For audio, I have the game on 780 from Plantronics and the surround sound is beautiful. This headset links perfectly to this system and uses USB, but on board audio is more than sufficient for these headphones. 5. Conclusion- for the money, I could not have built a better system myself. The only things I may do in the future are add more RAM when needed and upgrade to Windows 8 once game support grows and/or is required. Plus, Microsoft needs to work out the links in it too. Thanks to Digital Storm for offering us such a great deal and hanks for all the advice, it means a lot that you stand behind your product! I will try to post some pictures later on and some raw numbers for Crysis 3 as well. Overall, I couldn't be happier.

Love it... Don't know if you have the 2GB or 4GB version of the GTX 770... but a friend of mine runs a nice little single GPU GTX 770... and let me tell you. He also has a 27" monitor and boy does it love that 2560x1440 resolution.
It's a quick little card. And good choice on the i5, especially for gaming. There is no performance different really (except maybe 1-2 fps) between an i5 and i7. So smart move, sir... smart move. |

I love the back light against the wall in the full scene picture. The ominous glow is an awesome effect. It's not too bright and over powering, but still give an amazing effect against the dark wall.

Thanks to everyone chiming in! I have been enjoying Crysis 3 so much that I have completely forgot about BF4 for now lol. Plus, I have Splinter Cell and Batman to mow through as well. This beast is going to keep me busy for a while :) Just a sidebar, anyone else have any trouble downloading certain security updates from Windows? I think I fixed the problem last night by tweaking some settings here and ther. However, before I get home I wanted see what you guys thought. Thanks in advance! |

A quick follow up. I downloaded Splinter Cell Blacklist last night. My internet is a DSL link (I know, not the best but what I have available unfortunately) and I left the machine on to dl it. In the morning, the machine was still crisp and cool! Loving this thing

I downloaded a benchmarking tool this morning and I will run a full benchmark to validate specs when I get home tonight. Should be pretty easy to do while I am getting myself together for a night on the town.

Everything benches flawlessly. The OC is set soundly at 4.2 GHz, more than enough to get into some trouble 😏

Quick follow up...I finally had a day off so I got to play games all day today! I played Crysis 2 (figured I should beat this first before I start up Crysis 3) and it played at max settings without fail for several hours. Lots of bang for the buck with this system. A++

I plan on ordering the Vanquish lvl 4 in about 3 weeks. With the guts it has, is it able to play more demanding games on high settings with high frame rates?

Not sure what monitor you have.. the resolution is a big factor... or games you want to play, but here's a link that shows the gtx 770 with different resolutions and game settings for various games.
Hope this helps. Edited by bprat22 - 20 Oct 2013 at 10:05am |

Alright everyone...after a solid month of gaming, I finally made a couple of changes to the system...for starters, I used my upgrade to Windows 8. Honestly, I like the added options and the fast boot technology. I know some don't like the new layout, but since Microsoft has invested heavily into 8 as well as the other devices that are 8 compatible, this wasn't a waste.
I also upgraded the RAM in the system to 16gb of corsair vengeance @ 1866mhz. Slightly faster and a higher ceiling, Wei is all the way up to 8.2 now! Games like BF4 and Batman:AO play maxed and look sweet! Now...time for Ghosts....:) |

I have the 27 inch display that DS sells and I play at high frame rates and ultra settings. The color is beautiful! |
