About a year ago I bought the level 3 vanquish. It worked up until two weeks ago when the LED light strip started randomly flashing from blue to green or even sometimes red. At first, I contacted technical support and they told me to update my BIOS and I did that. So today, when I booted it up the lights, went from blue to the full spectrum change over time one. It still works fine from what I can tell. Am I just overthinking this or could there be something wrong? Id rather not wait till something goes wrong.

Okay, first, the light strip is isolated from other computer processes, it's just purty lights!
Unless yours has just gone a little nuts for no reason at all, you can use your remote to set it the way you want. Have you ever done that? The remote came in an anti-static wrapper in the box of spare parts that came with your rig. Here's how to lock in a particular color or sequence you can select with the remote: Remote Control MODE -> LOCK -> POWER (OFF) --> POWER (ON) * above POWER refers to remote power button not system power button Once I perform those sequences on a power cycle the RGB settings hold. Hope it works for you! Edited by Cretae - 13 Nov 2018 at 10:55am |
