Hey, JohnWJ, what kind of temps are you running? The reason I ask is that the Ryzen line comes with some pretty good air coolers at stock. The 2600 you have comes with a Wraith Stealth that should keep you under 65C at almost all times. Though cooler is always at least marginally better, you're not in any risky territory until you're hitting over 85C for sustained periods. I also hear that line is very quiet.

Have you made any other upgrades to your rig? IMHO, there are much better ways to spend on that setup than to upgrade a cooler that may be doing just fine as is.

Sorry on the delay in replying the temps on the GPU are around 86 degrees no upgrades lately. The temps of the computer are below.

Link doesn't work.

You shouldn't be running at 86C. It's pretty weird IMHO, but higher than you want in any case. Maybe you should give DS a call and see if something's wrong. Maybe there's no thermal paste. As I said, the Wraith is highly regarded.

Since you are buying anywhere you want, you are not limited to the Corsair line offered by DS, which are more than you need. Feel free to shop around, but I think you can easily stay under $100. Since you may seem to be in a hot environment, it might be best to prefer a dual fan radiator. Usually come with two 120mm fans and are known as 240 (2x120mm) configurations. You could look at the Coolermaster Master Liquid Lite. It's $60 on NewEgg with RGB fans.

Still think you should shout out to DS, though.

Hope it helps.

Emphasis mine: is it the "GPU" or cpu that is running hot?

Oh, that's good! Nothing at all wrong with those temps. No need to upgrade the cooler, you wouldn't really see much better. Good to see that Wraith is living up to it's rep. You're actually better off on air if it works for you. Nothing much to go wrong!

Also agree, Those are good temps and much more trouble free  to keep the cpu on air.
Enjoy.  Big%20Smile
