I am getting my PC on Monday and I had a bit of extra money after holiday shopping so I picked up a SSD. Am I correct in thinking that I should be able to just wipe the included drive and use the included USB with the Disc image on it to transfer over to the SSD first thing? Will I be missing any software, Drivers, or configuration? Should I just plug in the SSD and do the imaging myself directly to the SSD from the HDD?

Why not use both? Or am I missing something?

The USB should come with everything that was on your drive to begin with, seems to me. Drivers etc. If in any doubt, just clone your HDD to your SSD and there won't be any issues. When that's done, change boot order in the BIOS, and see if everything works from the SSD.
