Topic: Vanquish: Review of DS Posted: 09 Nov 2013 at 3:27pm |
My review is going to be more about DS as a company, then on the computer itself. That being said I will start with the company.
I ordered the Vanquish lvl 4 computer on a Friday afternoon, and later that night I had a question for them that I needed answered. I sent off and email that night, not expecting a reply for 3 or 4 days. I didn't bother looking for a response Sat, or Sun, as I knew they were closed. To my surprise when I checked Monday morning I had a response from them. The question was answered professionally and without making me feel like I asked a dumb question. Sofar the company is ahead of the pack of other computer companies I have dealt with. The Vanquish was shipped in a timely manner and was received in good condition. The box it was shipped in was sturdy, and the packaging was very well done. The community that Digital Storm as fostered here is by far the best I have seen, and that goes to show, to me anyway, how much the company and the people employed there, really enjoy what they do. To that end the Vanquish lvl 4 is by far the best built system, for the money, I have seen from any online or retail store. It looks sleek, feels mean, and runs smoothly. Pic's coming as soon as figure out how. |

I did the exact same thing. I couldn't believe that was the inside of a new Vanquish, haha. Congrats and thanks for the review! |

Thanks for the great review & pics.
You might want to look at resizing the pics using Paint or another photo app - they should be max 780px wide - that way they will fit better in the forums... Last pic reminds me of my first computer that I built. It had the first gen vertical 450MHz PIII CPU (Katmai), A-Bit mobo (whatever happened to them anyway?), a whopping 1GB of RAM (512MBx2), VooDoo3 3000 GPU & a 40GB HDD! Built it back in '99! It was a real screamer back then - used it mostly for Photoshop & Illustrator (plus a few games like Diablo). Used it for a long time as a server! Brings back memories!! |

Nice. Easier to look at with the re-sizing.

Badact,
Nice computer and good review. I for one was also very impressed by this community forum before I bought from DS. It was one of the bigger reasons I bought from DS. Good Luck with your Vanquish and Happy Gaming. |
