Topic: Vellox Case Config Question Posted: 07 Dec 2018 at 4:17pm |
Hi Guys,
I have a weird question, but if anyone can asnwer it, I am sure it is you all! (Assming I can explain it right...) I can't afford the Aventum, so I am looking at the Velox....The Velox case seems cool, except for one problem: All the pictures and videos I have seen has the MB and the "glass panel" on the "wrong side" for my desk-- it looks like the case is setup to work on/ view the components from the left side, and I need it on the right...(the PC will sit on my desk, to my right, and I want to see all the cool compnents...if they are on the left side, I will not be able to see them...(I hope that made sense...) And no, I can't just sit the PC on my left... :) My Question is, can the Velox and the MB tray be configured to oriented so I could see it from the right side of the chasis? If it can't be done, can someone recommend a good alternative? Thanks Gang! |

The Velox has the inverted motherboard setup, meaning the glass side panel is on the right instead of left like most cases and motherboard mounts upside down. It can’t be changed.
A great alternative is the Lumos. The Lumos has similar cooling and the glass on the left. I have the Lumos instead of the Velox just for that reason. The Lumos actually has both sides with glass, along with the front and top. Components and lighting are on the left like you need. Edited by bprat22 - 07 Dec 2018 at 5:36pm |
