I just ordered my first Digital Storm. Can't wait for it to arrive.

One thing I noticed, though, was that they didn't offer any dust filter accessories. I searched around in the configurator and found nothing.

Does anyone make any aftermarket dust filters? Has anyone fabricated one themselves?

Thanks.

Dust filters are everywhere.

Magnetic ones are the easiest to install/remove and clean. Just get the case dimensions and go crazy.

Thanks.

Do you know if they make filters for all of the openings, not just the main ones?

You can pretty much get any size you want. 120x240 is the size of the filters I linked, but the market for custom made filters is huge.

Couple of things with dust filters.   You will get dust in the case and will want to blow out occasionally. Can’t get away from it.   The other thing is most dust filters also interfere with air flow, very important for proper cooling.    Best advice is to keep the pc a couple of feet off the floor where dust likes to swirl around.   That alone will keep dust buildup down a lot.

I have cats and forced hot air heating and my rigs only need a once or twice a year cleaning. Of course, everyone has a different concern.

Good luck.

Thanks. Unfortunately for me, the floor is the only location for my PC. That’s why I want to get some dust filters.

I just wish there is a custom option available for all openings similar to what can be obtained for other well-known case manufacturers.

Once or twice a year?! Must be living in a "Clean Room" with hairless cats!

Still get into my ol' Vanquish at least once every other month. (Try to make it monthly but sometimes real life gets in the way.) I'd like to think that is one reason that the machine has lasted me over 8 years. (Still going strong for its age though!)

Snaike…     There is dust buildup when I get in there, not a lot, but some, but years of field service taught me to touch components as little as possible.   Precautions like static grounding, etc can still cause issues as pc interiors are fiddled with.   Guess I’m a product of years of service calls.

If the floor is the only place to sit the pc, even a low stand, stool, etc that elevates it a foot or two can make a difference.
