Topic: Velox Case Fan Color Control With Corsair RGB Fans Posted: 12 Aug 2021 at 10:11am |
I was wondering how the colors on the RGB fans in the Velox are controlled. I have a remote that appears to only control the colors on the LED strip on the side of the system. I have Armour Crate which does have configurations with Aura Creator that control what the CPU cooler colors are doing, and I usually have that on the Smart setting and on Temperature so I can tell at a glance how hot the CPU is. But so far I see nothing in Aura Creator that seems to control the case fan colors either.
I must have done it at one point because they are currently cycling rainbow colors just like the strip but I don't remember where it's done. Anyone have any ideas? My config is below, and lists the Corsair RGB fans as being "software controlled". Is that software that came with the machine or do I need to download something like iCue to control them? It takes a bit of time to get the hang of iCue, at least it did for me. If you search the web you can find some great iCue profiles for your Velox. When I found them, I just selected the "Lighting" portion of the profile and not the whole file. Selecting the whole profile will change fan curves and other things.
Good luck and have fun. |
