That in itself should be more than enough reason, though I know you wont agree with that, so how about if you want me to get into a more detailed explanation of why I recommend them, what the differences are, and anything else, I will.

Alright, lets do it. Power supply reccomendations are rarely backed up with proof by anyone here, so lets take the chance to all learn from eachother and put the numbers where our mouth is.

As some important points to hit:

more of the long-term reliability + stability, ripple + noise suppression, and voltage regulation.  I mean if the 750w is only +$30, and the 1000w is only +$44, I would say why not get a Corsair for that little of a difference in price.

Numbers and instrument readings please. I understand you find the Corsair better in every way, I'd just like to see the proof. Since you can list all of these as a reason to spend money, I assume you have numbers to back it up, so maybe a lineup and comparison of:

750w Certified
750w Corsair
1000w Certified
1000w Corsair
1200w Certified
1200w Corsair

Addressing:

Stability
Ripple
Noise suppression
Voltage regulation

I'm especially interested in this difference since here you said jumping from 2 physical cores to 4 physical cores was a good idea for saving $26, which is notably less than the jump to "Corsair Brand" for any of these power solutions.

It may take some time.

I will unfortunately be unable to test the oscilloscope on the TechNPS power supplies as the load tester is not complete.  In the mean time, I will post some similar power supplies until the load tester is complete, which will then replace those.

Regarding the CPU, all I was stating was that for gaming, the dual vs the quad didn't make a huge difference in gaming performance.

No problem.

I may ask management if we could send 3 units of TechNPS PSUs to the same review site I will be getting the Corsair data from, as the load tester does not have an ETA for completion.

There are not very many that are good review site for power supplies, here is one that is pretty good.

Just because there are many vendors, does not mean much, when there is only a few compainies that make power supplies.. most just slap there name on it and call it good.

Ya lot of psus, are a rebrand, or a clone, and keep in mind clones don't even get tested, yet certified. Brand names like corsair pus-s are not a a clone, they actually get tested before they get any certification.

I bought an ULTRA 1200 psu to put in my Digital Storm there building right now.Thinking having a life time warranty it  must be good.Wrong!!!! It failed miserably all tests.Digital Storm is pulling that out and replacing with Corsair AX 1200 with 7yr. warranty. It received one of the highest ratings and reviews you can give a psu!!!!!  THANK YOU for the web sites to look at!!!!!!!

Corsair AX 1200 is a very good psu with a 7 year warranty, when it comes to psu, you can't go wrong with hx and ax in the corsair, and the tx is better then the generic psu here.

You have to look at the maker of the psu, its/their track record and the warranty, sometimes the warranty itself is not enough.
