That info looks a little familiar (although slightly modified)...

Looks good. The motherboard could be downgraded to the Sabertooth unless your considering adding a third GPU. Also the 1200W PSU is slightly overkill, unless again you plan on adding a third GPU. The 1050 Corsair or 1000 SilverStone would suffice for dual GPU's... Also, I ended up down clocking my OC to 4.4 as some games caused system instability and I would get BSOD's. Perhaps could have tweaked the BIOS settings a bit more but don't notice the difference. And the Haswell's are tough to OC over 4.4 anyway - they've come to be known as "Lottery" CPUs as you never know if you'll get one that'll allow a high OC or not...

One last thing - for storage you might want to consider the 1TB Evo drive. I wish that was available when I built my system. I've nearly filled that 512GB with games already and will probably be adding another in the near future...

I agree with fstcvc on the drive and power supply. The ROG motherboards do have some nice features, like in BIOS SSD wipe, ROG Sonic Radar ... Another option would be have them special order a Maxiums VI Formula, which is more targeted at gamers than at extreme overclockers.

yes haha, I was looking through the forums before I made this post and I saw your signature and noticed it had almost the exact same specs as mine so, I saved the time :P

As to your recommendations, I will go with a 1050w PS, and im considering downgrading the mobo. Also should I be worried about getting a bad CPU then?

Finally, would 2 480 GB neutron GTX's in RAID 0 work well?

They call it the "silicone lottery" for a reason. You get the a CPU that will at least meet the minimum of what it is speced out to. Almost all can be pushed at least somewhat further. You may get lucky and get a really good one that can go further then others or one that can't get much beyond the minimum spec.

Someone posted a link to a Tom's Hardware article that showed that RAID0 doesn't do much for the performance of SSDs. You would probably be better off with a Samsung Evo 1TB both for performance and quality. The Corsair SSD are based on older Sandforce controllers that just don't compete with Samsung's.
