I've made my own PCs before but this time i decided to get a prebuilt and upgrade my whole system since it's been something I've been wanting to do for awhile anyway. This is the build i received on Tuesday 11/9 and so far it's more than great. The build quality is fantastic and everything worked right out of the box just as I hoped and as advertised. It looks great especially with the RGB strips and the case lights and it doesn't get that loud either which is surprising. The only change i did after I got it was change the ram to the trident z royal and it looks fantastic, highly recommend that ram to anyone. It's still way to early to tell how it'll do in the upcoming years but I'm very happy with the customer service experience I've had who have helped me stay sane as i impatiently waited 😅 with excitement for my new PC. For anyone browsing the forums wondering if you should get a PC from digital storm, i can honestly recommend them. The build quality is fantastic and everything about the PC screams quality. |

Lovely! Is this your first Digital Storm machine? That looks like a great build.

Yup, first one from them. I saw a LTT video about them and read different reviews about them. In the end i really liked the option for water cooling the rig as that's what I did in the PC i have made.
I just wish I could water cool the GPU as well in the bolt case but doesn't look like it Edited by Valyrian - 12 Nov 2021 at 10:02am |

I wouldn't worry too much about the lack of GPU cooling. I used to liquid cool my GPUs, but then I stopped doing it, because it makes upgrading the GPU too difficult.
Either way, I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your new machine. Small computers are awesome! |

It's bigger than i thought honestly, my desk is barely big enough for it and my monitor 😅 but I also get what you mean about the GPU cooling, plus i really like the design of the rtx cards. Edited by Valyrian - 12 Nov 2021 at 10:17am |

Congratulations and welcome to DS. That is a very nice system. Enjoy. As to liquid cooled gpus, if you have QDs, r&r is just an extra 2 steps and you cannot compare cooling with air. I haven't had an air cooled gpu in years. For upgrades I recommend the hybrids if space allows and you want the hardware all inside the case. Just my take. |
