Budget: Under 6,000.
Usage: I need to be able to play games at max settings on two 23" inch 1920x1080 monitor and also render videos in sony vegas pro 10. Games I will be playing: BF3,Skyrim,Minecraft,TF2. I mean 2SSD in Raid0 + a 1tb drive would be very nice. I don't want it to be very loud and still maintain very good temps while overclcking. I really couldn't care if it was LC or Air Cooled |

Hi Astrotechnics.....Here's a config that'll give you what you need.
Config # 657713 Cost $ 3554 NOTE..This list is a little messed up....Config is whacked..see changes on bottom... I put in 16Gb Ram, but your need might be more. Your call. The tri-sli gtx 570's will max your games out with no problem. The 1200W ps is to give the 570's what they need for juice. The H100 cooler is recommended for the x79 with tri-sli gpu's because of the heat generated especially with the stage 2 overclock. DS will stage 2 oc to a safe limit, no worries. The HafX case is tops in cooling and the large fans, because they run at a slower rpm for same airflow, are pretty quiet. I guessed at you SSD's. Not sure the size you want. I know nothing about RAID 0. I threw in your free t-shirt...guessed on the size Look it over and Good Luck I just noticed...the config is messing up and isn't posting what I picked. Change psu from 800W to the 1200W Corsair, change SSD to 2--180GB series 520 SSD and HDD to 1TD WD black series. Edited by bprat22 - 20 Feb 2012 at 12:46pm |
