First of all I love my DS. It is a great unit and know I made the right decision buying from this company.

But I need some help. My unit in back at DS for a minor tune up and they found one of my GTX 260 is on its last.

It will be forever to get another 260 so here are options and I need help since I have not been following cards for some time.

Option
2-- 280s
one 470
one 460

Gaming and photoshop rig.

Any quick simple advice would be REALLY appreciated.

Thanks for the quick response. Been doing a little "panic" reviews and the 470 looks like a good card.

Not sure about heat issues, looks like it can get a little hot.

Also trying to find a performance comparison chart for my sli 260s and the 470 without much luck.

Would it be the same or better than my 260s?

I guess one 470 with heat the room less than sli 260s

I have had 2 GTX 260's.. and a GTX 470, the GTX 470 will be very close to the same power. with no AA the GTX 260's will be a touch faster, with eye candy maxed, the GTX 470 will be a tad faster.

The GTX 470 is not that hot, nor that loud, and overclocks like mad. When overclocked a lot it will get hot and loud lol
