I have a Dell inspiron 530s I was wondering what the best video card i could get with this type of computer and if it needs a new power supply and if so which one please and thank you very much for the help in advance

well your psu is a 250w, that is very small, none of todays cards support it.

to get a video card, you will want to upgrade your psu and then get a new gpu, problem is that I'm not sure if you have one of those dell psus or a regular psu, if it fits a regular psu then thats different, next we would need to know if you gonna be gaming at that 1440 x 900 res, and if so how much you want to spend on the gpu and psu, last we need to make sure the new gpu fits in your system, the new cards are very long.
