Budget:
I'm right around my 2k budget so I'm happy with that.

What I plan on using it for is Prosumer video editing, ie - Short films, web series, etc. I wont play a lot of FPS games but mainly things like WoW, Diablo 3, Shogun 2, etc. I'm pretty sold on the 670 GPU because it has about the same benchmarks as the 7970. What do you guys think? Thanks for any help!!

remember the blu ray player does not come with play back software, so you'll have to buy that as well. The 670 really isnt close to the 7970m. The 7970m and 680m are close to the 670 desktop version(not quite there, but close). You will get a lot more with the 7970, as its showing to be the same as the 680 +/- 5%, and with OC it, its beating the 680( no one know how the 680 will OC cause of the vram etc) So more bang for the buck with the amd card. Still keeps you around 2k budget (depending if you drop the blu ray player)
