Probably later on i'm going to be buying a laptop (hopefully), my boyfriend might eventually be going to travel for his dump trucking job soon so i figured i might need to buckle down and get a laptop. This is my current configuration, do you think the graphics card will be good enough to play the Sims 3 and the Sims 4 when it comes out? I don't know what the specs would be for it. Also do i need to change the Primary hard drive from HDD to SSD?

Hey Arkansas... I'm not a laptop guy, as you probably have heard
Hopefully, a laptop guru will come by and help out. Good Luck.

It works pretty good on the Gtx 670 but i think desktop graphics cards are way different than laptop ones.

True. Desktops are historically better performers.
Here' a link that talks in depth of the 770M. If you scroll down a bit it benches games, with SimCity there. No Sims3. If you click on each FPS colored icon, it gives the platform. Hope it helps. Edited by bprat22 - 03 Sep 2013 at 12:05pm |

I'll probably ask this on the Sims 3 community site also since most of them use laptops to play the game and see what they say about the graphics card.
Also thanks for replying Bprat Edited by ArkansasWoman777 - 03 Sep 2013 at 1:46pm |

Well i got my reply and basically SummerMistx3 who replied to me said "You will certainly be able to run Sims 3 & 4 and all its expansion packs on max settings! Desktops are obviously better and the NVIDIA 770 (desktop version) is much better than the NVIDIA 770M, but if you're serious about purchasing a laptop, you can't get any better than this. *Well you can since the NVIDIA 680M & 780M are the top two best NVIDIA laptop graphics cards as of 2013 (770M falls in third)"
She did find my thread on here which is pretty cool. |

Thanks. Being one of the top cards, I figured the 770M would work.
