I have a file that supposedly has a virus in it.  When I tried to email the file in yahoo mail it says that the file has a virus, when I try to load it on our Corporate website it says it has a virus.  So I downloaded AVG from DST4ME's website and ran it and no virus was found anywhere on the computer.  I then had AVG look at that one file and it did not find a virus.  My problem is that it would take me a week to redo the work that is in that file and I just don't want to do that.  Question, what else can I do?

go here and submit the file, if it comes back clean then its fine and a false positive

The only problem is that the one you posted DST4ME has a 1MB limit.  My file is and excel file and it is 6.4MB.

I used that site and it says no virus.  I re-zipped the file and tried to send it again and same error.

use a different email account to send it.

if you like you can upload it some where and I can test it for you

my nod32 says its clean also, why don't you save it as xls instead and see if that helps
