Ok to many people say this and its driving me nuts..


GET VISTA!

1. DX10
2. Microsoft is making many distributors to stop selling XP meaning developers will develop for Vista


Only 2 reasons I can think of haha...



Many OS at release will e buggy and I won't lie, Vista is sh*t but JUST for gaming, I think you have to go Vista

how is vista sh*t? i thought most of us had gotten past this.
 
acually the only reason i could imagine for going with XP over vista would be that its just more stable *right now* because its been around for so long and its very battle tested. but um, thats it.

I didn't say Vista was sh*t...I said WHY to go to Vista because people asking why a lot so yeah... =/

yeah XP is stable but microsoft is getting their stuff together so give it 1 more service pack and it'll be fine.

i guess im not reading the first post right, either way, my vista has been perfect since the first day i got all my hardware sorted out. I guess the best answer to the OS choosing would be if you already have XP and a solid machine, no reason to look into Vista... but if you are getting a new computer theres little reason not to include vista with that purchase

Lets hope Windows 7 is going to be friendly to games, its going to be based on Touch Screen and i dont wanna bang on the screen when I wanna spam that buttons for a MMORPG (Age of Conan) lol....
