Topic: Warranty Questions Posted: 31 Jan 2009 at 5:44pm |
I am going to buy a system form DS, but I want to know about the warranty. I know it includes all parts, labor ect... But, I want ot know what you need to do to void it. Because I want to upgrade the GPUs later, or maybe overclock the RAM, and want to know if something like that would void the warranty? If not what would?

LOL duplicate question, deserves a duplicate answer
don't take anything to the extreme and you will be fine. you can add all the GPUs your mobo allows you, you can OC the GPUs. its pretty simple really, if something happens, they will inspect to see what caused it, if it looks like abuse or extreme settings caused it, then your warranty is void, if you gonna push stuff, find out the limits of your components and don't ever push them pass 80% of their ability and you will always be fine. red-line and/or take chances, and obviously, they are not gonna pickup the tab for that, nobody would do that for us, nor in all fairness do I think any company should. but as far as adding hardware, you can add as much hardware as your case can handle Edited by DST4ME - 31 Jan 2009 at 5:46pm |

lol I'm just joking with you SS1, they don't care about that stuff here and I enjoy answering questions so it does not bother me either I was just joking, sorry about that, normally when you see me post a laughing smiley after something I said, it means that I'm joking.
