I have am Aventum X, and I need to drain and refill the coolant liquid. Can anyone recommend a kit and fluid for this job?

You can get it thru DS. I don't think it is just water.
My solution came in a bottle with "Corsair" at the top. It is called "HYDRO SERIES" XL8 Performance Coolant. My solution is "CLEAR" Mine came in a 1000 ml bottle. It took more than one bottle. There is a video showing you how to do a refill. My 4 year old Aventum hardly looks any different than it did the day I got it. Why do you think you need to replace it? My new Aventum has hard copper piping whereas my old Aventum has plastic tubing. |

EK has various products for cleaning and flushing systems with instructions. I also recommend a 24-pin ATX power on/off switch jumper (Amazon) to cycle the pump on/off without having to start and shut down the system. Much quicker and safer. Good luck.

Sure! You can try the Corsair Hydro X Series coolant kits. They're reliable and easy to use. As for the fluid, Mayhems X1 coolant is a popular choice among PC enthusiasts. Hope this helps!

With this tutorial, the Aventum X is really easy to drain and re-fill.

Why the links don't work properly here is a question to be looked at by the web designer.
However, you can "highlight" the link, then right click on it and scroll down where is says, "Go to...... yada yada yada". This will get you there hoserator. :-) |
