All,
Sorry for posting all the time. So - as soon as John gets back with me, I am going to order my system. It will take some time for the things Id like done to be done and by that time the 690 water blocks will be out. On to this post.. I have worries (I am a worrier (is that a word?)) when it comes to such an investment. This PDF talks about watercooling and corrosion and stains - it (as far as my limited mind can tell, Ive been out of this building game too long) says basicly that blocks need cleaned every 12 weeks? Is that true? How do I get more liquid? Does liquid run out? All these kinda questions - its like owning your first car I guess. Anyone willing to make me smarter on this? I'm going LC'ing - I just wanna be prepared so I know what I'm getting myself into. -Mike "Xii" |

They recommend changing the fluid out every 3 years.A company called Monsoon has come out with a product where you replace your fill plugs with theres that has pure silver on the ends.It kills the microbial growth in your cooling loops. I purchased mine from Performance-Pcs.com , there $6.00 each. Digital Storm uses Feser cooling fluid that contains ethylene glycol thats anti corrosion fluid. I hope this answers your questions. Call DS they will add this to your order and extra bottle.
